Combined Techniques in Cosmetology: When Injections and Devices Work Together
Modern cosmetology is increasingly moving away from "standalone" procedures towards well-thought-out comprehensive programs. The combination of hardware and injection techniques allows for a pronounced yet natural result, working not only on the surface but also at deeper levels of the skin and soft tissues.
The main rule when composing such protocols is to consider the physiology, regenerative potential of the skin, and the correct sequence of procedures. The device first "prepares" the tissues, activates metabolic processes, enhances microcirculation, while injections consolidate the result, initiating recovery from the inside.
One classic example is the combination of RF lifting (radiofrequency exposure) and biorevitalization. For instance, a patient comes in showing signs of dehydration, dull skin, and loss of tone. First, an RF lifting session (for example, on the EXILIS ULTRA device) is conducted to stimulate collagen, improve microcirculation, and prepare the tissues. After 3-5 days, hyaluronic acid injections for deep hydration and initiation of reparative processes can be performed. The result: the skin becomes denser, hydrated, with a healthy glow and elasticity.
Another example is SMAS lifting using ultrasound (for example, ULTRApulse Alpha) and filler injections. Ultrasound tightens the tissues, creates a lifting framework, while fillers (for example, from the JUVÉDERM® line) restore volume in areas where it has been lost—cheekbones, lips, nasolabial folds. This strategy helps avoid overloading the face with fillers and achieves a more structured and "natural" rejuvenation.
Yet another strong duo is injection lipolytics (for example, using a phosphatidylcholine-based preparation) in combination with the VANQUISH ME or EMTONE device. This combination is particularly effective in combating local fat deposits and skin sagging. The device destroys fat cells and enhances lymphatic drainage, while injections finalize the result at the cellular regulation level.
Importantly, combining procedures requires medical qualifications, an understanding of contraindications, and an individual approach. Not all techniques can be combined in one day; some—only in a course format, with clear intervals between sessions.
The combined approach is no longer just a trend, but a standard of modern aesthetic medicine. It allows not just to "stick" effects, but to deeply transform the condition of the skin and tissues, improving not only the appearance but also the quality of life of the patient.
